Nokia uses an infographic to tout the Lumia 920's advantages

Samsung has definitely had its time to poke fun at Apple's recently announced (and soon to be released) iPhone 5. Last weekend, Samsung released a print ad that proclaimed "It doesn't take a genius" to select a Galaxy S III over the iPhone 5. Yesterday, Samsung got even bolder by releasing a new TV commercial that not only poked fun at the iPhone 5, but also the rabid fans that camp out for hours (if not days) to be the first to have the latest Apple smartphone.

Now, Nokia is having its fun in the sun with an infographic that touts the advantages of its Windows Phone 8 device -- the Lumia 920 -- over the iPhone 5. Naturally, Nokia points to a number of Lumia 920 highlights including wireless charging and the ability to use the touch screen with gloved hands.

So what do you guys think? Does Samsung or Nokia make a better case in countering the iPhone 5 juggernaut?

It's not really fair of Nokia to list all of the optional accessories and compare them to the standard headphones that come with the Apple. The iPhone has an incredible amount of aftermarket accessores that are specifically designed to work with it, including watches, pedometers, CARS, etc.

With that being said, I will still likely look to purchase the N920 once there are some hands-on reviews and comparisons with the apple device, assuming it proves to be a quality phone with nice features and that jawsome l33t camera.

Here is something missed in the graphic.

Nokia’s Wireless Charging Stand is not just a dumb wireless charger, but also comes with a NFC tag which will launch an app you specify automatically when you place it there.

This would for example let you automatically launch a clock application at work or say Xbox Smartglass at home without needing to do anything besides dropping it in the cradle.

What they really need to advertise is that the rest of the modern world has forgone wires completely. Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE... and now even power.

I'm personally looking forward to accessories that wirelessly charge and connect to any device I want it to... except an iPhone, because they apparently don't care about that.
