Samsung hits comedy gold... again

Samsung knows a good thing when it sees it. The company struck gold with its TV commercials mocking iPhone users late last year. The commercials depicted rabid Apple fans that wait in long lines to snap up the latest iteration of the iPhone.

Over the weekend, Samsung upped the ante with a print ad that directly went after Apple's new iPhone 5.

And now, Samsung is ready for a second round of "Apple Mockery" TV advertising. If the first commercials were amusing to you, this one is sure to tickle your funny bone as well.

Here are some choice quotes:

"They're saying this phone is going to be like a precious jewel"
"All I'm saying is they should have a priority line for people that have waited 5 times"

I am not sure what you mean. IT's a GS3 commercial, of course hey have Gs3's... In reality, Android is activating 1.3 million a day and climbing, GS3 is a small portion of that#. Apple tools are being mocked because they are so easily mockable, for the exact things that commercial makes fun of.

Preparing for my post to be downrated because it's true.

I own a DROID Bionic and I don't like and I guess I do "bash" the iPhone so I guess you are wrong.

The GS3 doesn't draw people in "because it is a GS3" in the way people buy an iPhone because they think it is "hip". The GS3 really IS a great device, while EVERYONE pretty much agrees that the iPhone 5 is only somewhat better than the iPhone 4s with questionable advantages over the top end Android phones.

I am not saying the iPhone 5 isn't a good device, but is it AMAZING compared to the Galaxy S3? If it isn't heads and shoulders BETTER, than sales numbers are more about hype at this point, or they would be closer to the Galaxy S3. Note that Samsung is working to generate more hype to get people who are prone to purchase due to hype to go that way, but it is NOT the current driving force.

I guess I must not be laughing (guess I will have to remember that next time I feel like laughing) as I do not have a GS3 since my GNEX is servering me plenty well.

Ironic, in a hipster way. Your need to be unique and individual means you have to be different, just like everyone else?

The iPhone is the Camry or Accord of smartphones, and Samsung's attempt at portraying iPhone owners as hipsters won't change the fact that the iPhone is boring, reliable, and well supported, nor it's appeal to people for that reason.

The funny thing is that whether or not you admit it, you're one in the same.
