The live report said the iPhone 5 has a "laser keyboard" and "holographic images"

A news outlet in New York made a huge goof in its recent iPhone 5 coverage, saying that the new Apple device has new features like a laser keyboard.

Fox 5 New York (WNYW), a local television station in NYC, recently ran a live report ahead of the iPhone 5 release in front of a 5th Avenue Apple store. The broadcast aimed to interview hardcore Apple fans sleeping outside of the store until the iPhone 5's release this Friday.

However, the live broadcast went seriously wrong when the reporter described the iPhone 5's features. Instead of talking about the iPhone's new screen size or 4G LTE capabilities, the reporter described a "laser keyboard" and "holographic images." What?

Clearly, the iPhone 5 doesn't have these features. So why did Fox 5 New York report it? Apparently, whoever did the fact-checking for Fox 5 that day grabbed a concept video from Aatma Studio, which discussed what the iPhone could hypothetically do. To make matters worse, the concept video is a year old already.

Check out the live broadcast here:

Right because Obama plans on giving all those media pawns big tax breaks and cutbacks for their dedicated service? What benefit has or does the "mainstream media" get from supporting Obama?
Oh right he wants to raise their taxes....(250k/year income)
Maybe they just support whats best for everybody, and not a fraction of the population? They support Science and education, not ignorance and lobbying.

Just because it has a .org does not make it unbiased, or good. I clicked on the link and found 2 stories that just cater to idiots and frankly I dont want to waste anymore of my time reading this crap. A 30 sec edited video with a few sentences is hardly a fact finding mission. But heres a quick breakdown of the two I saw and how silly the points are.

The reporter is talking about Romney not himself, and the news reporter is not running for President. FACT - Romney did pander to the rich and got caught. The reporters income or financial situation has nothing to do with it. :/ Is the report kinda stupid yeah but its not inaccurate.

Romney has had a number of problems in the past few weeks. RNC vs DNC. His remarks on foreign policy and China. The middle east riots. And the latest 47% video. Any one of those is a problem but the group... is a Tsunami, especially at this point in the race.

Honestly, anybody reading this site that earns less than $250,000 a year and is voting for Romney is simply voting for the wrong person.

Do you really think Romney has your well being on his priority list? He can't even relate to you. HE CAN'T RELATE TO AMERICA.

So are you telling me that a country founded by self serving rich white guys and historically run by rich white guys tend to vote for rich white guys, even though it may not be the best choice?

absolutely nothing to do with the article. you guys are sad. you are no different to the media you are attacking. how does an iphone5 article generate political comments, i know you are pushing your views on everyone else at every opportunity, no different to the media.

Lots of people works for defense contractors and make less than $250k per year. We would welcome an administration that spends money on things that matter instead of subsidizing hippie science projects that go bankrupt after a year.

Sounds like you are the one who is out of touch with America, lots of people work for big corporations, if the corporations have to cut back that impacts everyone at the company, including the little guys.

Typical - just about any political story, from any source, can by spun by someone with an opposing view. What do you want, an apology? BO apologizes all of the time to our enemies. That must be what you want from me. No...in your case, you just attack (and down rate me).

Like 'invidious' says,
quote:
lots of people work for big corporations, if the corporations have to cut back that impacts everyone at the company, including the little guys.

I'm one of the little guys. In fact, my 'big corporation' employer let me go a couple of years ago, due to the bad economy. Six months later, they hired me back. No hard feelings on my part - they did what they needed to do.

...In other news, BO continues to attend fundraisers, and ignores his presidential duties -

Typical - find someone that you don't agree with and you attack them. (In my case, I was down-rated 3pts! - Thanks!!!)
