Another new Galaxy device on its way
Samsung seems to be intent on dominating the market with Galaxy devices. The company is constantly launching new products in the Galaxy line that already includes smartphones and tablets. Samsung is said to be getting another new product ready for the market that will debut at an event scheduled for August 29.
The new product will be called the Galaxy S II Plus. The tip on the launch of the S2 Plus smartphone comes from a mobile carrier in Chile called VTR. The carrier released the rather blurry photo you see here along with a few details on the smartphone.
The S2 Plus smartphone promises a Super AMOLED HD display measuring 4.52-inches. The smartphone is also tipped to run Android 4.0 rather than the new Jelly Bean flavor of Google's operating system. Other rumored features for the phone include an Exynos dual-core processor running at 1.5 GHz and 1 GB RAM.
The smartphone is pegged for 16 GB of integrated storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The phone will have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and an eight-megapixel rear camera. The phone is expected to cost approximately £227. It looks like there's nothing particularly impressive about the new smartphone, which is expected to launch at the end of Q4.
