The bundle is rumored to cost about $399.99

Microsoft posted pictures of a new Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 console on its store website, but promptly took the images down when they leaked onto other sites before the official product announcement.

The new console sports a Halo 4-themed look of blue and grey. It also has a custom controller that has blue LEDs as opposed to the usual green LEDs.

The bundle, which appears to include the spcial edition Halo 4 console, the Halo 4 game, and two controllers, is rumored to run around $399.99 while a stand-alone controller will cost $49.99.

I have a 10 year old satellite receiver box and a 12 year old TV, neither top of the line at the time of purchase. What does it matter? People buying the XBOX 360 for basic gaming or media content can still enjoy those capabilities for years. XBOX Live is a great media service, especially if you don't have cable TV, and if it's anything like the original XBOX, Microsoft will continue to support Live content on the XBOX 360 3+ years after it is "replaced"
