Google's Nexus 7 will be available in 8GB and 16GB versions
It looks as though Google was a little sloppy when it comes to protecting the assets for its upcoming Google I/O conference. An image of the company's Nexus 7 tablet was leaked ahead of schedule along with the full specs for the device.
The Nexus 7 (which measures 198.5 x 120 x 10.45 mm) is made by ASUS, comes with a 7" IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 (216 PPI), and is powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The Nexus 7 weighs just 12 ounces and is available in 8GB and 16GB versions. All the features that you would expect from a modern tablet are included like a 1.2MP front-facing camera, NFC, an accelerometer, GPS, Bluetooth, and 802.11n wireless.
The Nexus 7 can operate for up to 9 hours (300 hours stanby) thanks to its 4325 mAh battery.
The Nexus 7 also packs
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
, but since that hasn't been officially announced yet, we'll provide an update to this piece when those details are revealed. In addition, pricing hasn’t been released, although we’ve been hearing $199 for the 8GB version and $249 for the 16GB version.
One bonus that is being included with each Nexus 7 purchase – for a limited time – is the inclusion of $25 in credit to use at the Google Play Store.

There's a 16GB version too but I see your point. I have a Galaxy Nexus with 32GB and no microSD but with most of my stuff on the cloud, I use VERY little space (26GB free) on this one compared to my old HTC Incredible with 16GB onboard plus another 16GB microSD that was nearly filled. My only issue was I wanted to be able to store a fair amount of movies on it for when I go camping. I guess I'll either have to compress the crap out of them or figure something else out. Regardless, I've been wanting a 7" Asus tablet for a while now and I consider it a bonus getting one with pure Jelly Bean on it.

To go camping. Get a Seagate wireless disk and it has 500GB worth of storage. But you might have to find a solar charger if you have no access to mains power for charging. Or bring along a large 3rd-party usb battery that can charge you device for a few days. Extra weight but worth it!.
