The Droid Incredible family grows

Verizon Wireless is continuing its push into the LTE realm with the announcement of the newest member of the family: the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. As with previous Droid Incredible variants, this latest one is made by HTC.

Once you get past the mouthful of a name, Verizon's latest LTE smartphone has quite a bit to offer including:
  • 4-inch super LCD qHD display
  • 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.2 and 28 mm lens and LED flash
  • Front-facing camera
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor
  • 1GB system RAM, 8GB internal storage
  • Support for up to 32 GB microSD
  • Mobile Hotspot capability  (supports up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices)
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • NFC
  • Beats Audio
  • 1700 mAh battery
You'll also be glad to know that the Droid Incredible 4G LTE comes packing Android 4.0 -- hopefully we can put Android 2.3 out to pasture for new smartphone releases from here on out. In addition, the smartphone measures 4.8" x 2.4" x 0.46" and weighs in at 4.7 ounces.

We don't currently have any pricing on the Droid Incredible 4G LTE, but Verizon says that the smartphone will be available “in the coming weeks”.
