I'm not sure why you think you need 64bit games.
Now that developers can apply many more textures at one time, thanks to bindless textures, it is much easier to exceed the memory limit on the card. We still need games developers to take advantage of that feature though and they won't do it, because nowadays everybody develops for consoles and only ports to PC.
