RE: Not bad NVIDIA

As a fan of neither red or green, but a fan of my wallet. This card is not attractive to me as an individual. It is not worth the price relative to the performance gain.

GK104 294mm² @ $499 was meant to be midrange. Only AMD is to blame for their lack offering. The card should have been the 660 at $350 max. Can thank AMD's inadequacies for this debacle.

With this grossly overpriced chip I will be skipping out this first round of 28nm.
I'll be waiting for GK110, a true flagship and I know I am not the only one.

Nvidia can puppet many reviewers forcing a justification on the GTX 680s price, but they aint fooling me.

Spot on!
Yes they are calling it high end but really its a rebadged midrange selling as high end as it was good enough to compete against the 7970, Why release true top end when they can milk the market with midrange that does the job.
Bring on dual 7970's, GK104 dual GK104's or GK110's or even better dual GK110's then I'll be spending big.
Impressive as they are it's a fill in until the real deal comes out, If you have a crossfire or SLI setup already you won't see much of an improvement by getting either AMD or Nvidia's latest,Better off holding out a few months as the GPU wars finally start happening again. Would be a bitch if 7990 or dual 680GTX was out before half year, And you know it may actually happen,Good in my opinion as the 28nm delays have already set us back about a year already.
