I wouldn't get a second 6870 regardless of framerate numbers because of microstutter.

Also, even though they sold out instantly, the 680 gtxs were listed from 499$ and up on newegg. it's about $40~$50 cheaper than the 7970 while roughly 15% better performance overall stock vs stock. I'm actually surprised that there's no "news" on this considering every 7K card got its own little news story and review.

From what I read that was fixed a few driver versions ago but darned if you get a review site to re-review when drivers mature.

If they managed to fix it it would be a great solution. It's basically the only reason I've avoided crossfire. I guess it's time to start spamming reviewer inboxes.
