Do you think ultrabooks are the next great thing or just a bunch of hype. Let us know your thoughts!

Are you interested in buying an ultrathin/ultrabook?

Since all the options make me feel stupid except the $500 one, I can only guess that this "survey" was paid for by AMD or one of their supporters.

Personally I would have taken the "No, I need more power and options then an Ultraportable can provide."

In fact, just yesterday I almost grabbed $2000 so I could find a really nice laptop to replace the lame one work makes me use. It isn't bad, I just need at least 4 cores, 8GB RAM, and a 1080p monitor if I am going to be doing software engineering at the level they want.

Then I realized I don't need to spend that kind of money on a laptop when I can get better in a desktop for $1000, and I lost interest.
