Production is truly "limited" -- only 50 will be built
I won't bore you with a bunch of fluff, but I just wanted to take the time to point out this case from InWin's booth at CES. The radical-looking XFrame Limited Edition "open frame" PC Chassis is constructed almost entirely of aluminum and measures 13" x 20" x 16".
Six 3.5" drive bays
Two 5.25" drive bays
Support E-ATX motherboards
Full-length, 12" graphics cards are fully support
Two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports are included on the front panel along with audio connections
Production will reportedly be limited to just 50 units and there is no word on if the cases will make it to the U.S., which is a shame. Seeing it in person, it just looks like a work of art.

Exactly how is this "cool"?

More like useless and a waste of money.

I think it's for testing components and hardware setups easily, it's not for your average user's desktop.
Think PC repair shop.

Antec released something like this several years ago. It cost more than the usual mid-tower but it wasn't outrageously priced either. It seemed to fit the repair shop function you're talking about much better.
This In-Win case seems squarely aimed at the bling PC crowd based on its styling, materials, and the fact that there are only 50 of them. It is made for showing off.
