The 22% you mention - fails to mention that (except for Q3 of this year just before the new iphone launch) that the iPhone has the BIGGEST share of the market of ANY smartphone. To quote a figure of 66% of an entire market as profitable as the tablet market in argument against a companies market share, is ridiculous. Finally - your idiocy surfaces in your analysis of who buys Apple products. iPhone users, are, for example, more intelligent, more qualified, and more successful than Android users, as various studies have confirmed. The people I know who have iPhones are people who simply wanted to buy the best product in the market. They don't rush to buy every new model, and they don't buy anything unless they regard it as the best. Now that's the majority - your naivety leads you to assume that the tiny minority of Apple 'Cultists' represent the people who are buying. The people who buy Android usually do so because they are on a lower budget, usually because they are in lower paid jobs and/or are kids. That's what the studies on ALL numbers show - they aren't just some stupid opinion of a guy who claims to own shares in a company without even understanding the demographics of its market.
