. The 90nm part retains the 128-bit memory interface and SLI capability of the 7600GT but features a lower core clock and has one quad disabled.
BIOSTAR has announced two new 7300GT cards for the mainstream market. Its SGate V7302GT21 is a silent solution as it features a massive heatsink featuring CoolPipe II technology to whisk away heat and would be a perfect fit for SFF PCs. The SGate V7303GT21 on the other hand uses a traditional heatsink and fan and offers higher clock speeds as a result.
The cards features a standard PCI-Express interface, DDR3 memory support and come with BIOSTAR's TurboClock software which automatically overclocks the GPU. Here are the hardware specifications for the SGate V7302GT21 and the SGate V7303GT21:

I taught this was a low end video card, why such a good cooler on it.

Maybe it does not need that much cooling but it could make the card a potential overclockers dream by opening up the disabled quad and raising the clocks. The other side of the aurgument is that the cooling could make the card more expensive to where it gets into the price range of the 7600GS and 7600GT which is already sneaking down to the $150 mark.

or they just make one cooler making all the cards cheeper to make. and it will keep this card nice n cool for many years as low end systems are keep for long periods of time, or used in businesses where they are readily abused.
