Commercial shows Apple fans camped out for the iPhone 4S, marveling at the Samsung Galaxy S II

The past year's events have made it pretty clear that Apple and Samsung aren't the best of friends. Apple initially accused Samsung of copying Apple's iPhone and iPad designs when developing the Galaxy line, and a long list of lawsuits have been launched back and forth ever since around the globe.

Apple may have successfully killed Samsung's sales in some countries outside the U.S., but Samsung isn't going to take this lying down. In its latest commercial for the Galaxy S ll, Samsung makes fun of Apple fanboys by portraying a scene where they're all waiting in line hours in advance for the next release. While waiting, the fanboys are noticing passerby with phones that are "magnificent," and of course the phones in question are Galaxy S ll's.

The fanboys make pompous comments while waiting in line, such as "If it looks the same, how will people know I upgraded?" and an exchange between two fanboys that goes as follows:

Fanboy 1: I could never get a Samsung, I'm creative.

Fanboy 2: Dude you're a barista.

Check it out for youselves:

The reason people like myself stick to apple's "restrictive" environments is because I actually appreciate the fact that I don't have to worry about malware and viruses on the apps I download. And the truth is that I don't understand how people say it's restrictive... because I can't run Flash? I have been an iPhone used since it's inception and there has not been a single website that I've wanted to go to that needed flash. There are apps for just about every think a person needs, more accessories than any other phone out there, PLENTY of 3rd party cases, chargers, etc. My updates are timely and work flawlessly across all generations (unlike android)... basically the phone does everything I need a smartphone to do. And as you said, you have choice. Android, iOS, Windows... why do you need to constantly trash other phone companies? Talk about annoying. You know whats more annoying than Apple or it's fanboys... Android fanboys. You have a good product, Apple has a good product. Quit 'trying' to be so pompous and smug, It's becoming pathetic. Enjoy your phone and stop trolling everything Apple.

Barista... just one of the many "jobs" held by a hipster in skinny jeans who claims to be unique but instead follows the trends of skinny jeans, Apple products and act as if they were superior to regular people.

After watching Cult of Mac special on CNBC and dealing with the large amount of hipsters in NYC I have no respect for these people.

While I do not personally own apple products (except for my wife's hand-me-down ipods since she seems to need to upgrade every year) I do see the appeal for some people with the simplicity. What I think gets people (on this board and other tech sites) annoyed is all of the sheeple that simply get every idevice created so they can be "cool" and because everybody else wants one. Most people I know with one try to convert me, and while there are good points, I just cannot get behind the closed system or condone some of their practices.

My brother actually tried to convince me not to get a droid (waiting for the galaxy nexus) as even though he likes the droid phones he has tried better, he is stuck due to how much he has purchased through Itunes, which just emphasized why I do not like iproducts.

In the end, I think it is a personal preference and one I am glad I get to make, as if apple (or droid) went away, the technology would probably suffer from the lack of competition.

Yes I have t agree with you that one should just enjoy their phone.

But if the idea of Malware/Viruses is keeping you from Android, you have made a mistake.

1st of all don't belive anti-virus software makers when they say you need antivirus software.
2nd if malware and virus is so prevelant on Android how coem no one has actually ever caught one or knows of anyone who has....just food for thought.

Apple doesn't have security vulnerabilities..? Seriously?

Albeit, Apple's biggest problem with security has always been Quicktime, which has thankfully given all you fanboys the ability to jailbreak. But keep in mind these vulnerabilities can let a multitude of nasty malware -- it's just that hackers don't really care about a product with 5% of the marketshare, Apple's only saving grace on the security front.
