Commercial shows Apple fans camped out for the iPhone 4S, marveling at the Samsung Galaxy S II

The past year's events have made it pretty clear that Apple and Samsung aren't the best of friends. Apple initially accused Samsung of copying Apple's iPhone and iPad designs when developing the Galaxy line, and a long list of lawsuits have been launched back and forth ever since around the globe.

Apple may have successfully killed Samsung's sales in some countries outside the U.S., but Samsung isn't going to take this lying down. In its latest commercial for the Galaxy S ll, Samsung makes fun of Apple fanboys by portraying a scene where they're all waiting in line hours in advance for the next release. While waiting, the fanboys are noticing passerby with phones that are "magnificent," and of course the phones in question are Galaxy S ll's.

The fanboys make pompous comments while waiting in line, such as "If it looks the same, how will people know I upgraded?" and an exchange between two fanboys that goes as follows:

Fanboy 1: I could never get a Samsung, I'm creative.

Fanboy 2: Dude you're a barista.

Check it out for youselves:

There is a reason apple stick with narrower screen.
I tried the samgsung one. My thumb can't reach the entire screen. For the Iphone size my thumb can reach accross the screen and I can operate the phone with just one hand and one thumb.

That's big, good thing you posted it twice.

The phone designers of the world, shape their handsets after your thumb. Ummm, yeah.

At least with Nokia N9 they did. One of the most important thing was that you can easily use the device with only one hand. No physical buttons just all screen. Its quite tiny in hand even with 3.9" screen since the screen goes all the way to the edges of the device.

With Galaxy S2 even with my long fingers I can't reach the top left corner with my right thumb.. that kinda sucks. I don't wanna use 2 hands to operate my phone or weirdly move my hand with the phone to reach it.

I'm saying that about 4" screen is pretty optimal, you can get quite small device with big enough screen. 4.3-> is too big imo.

I don't know, I've never been too successful at multi-touch using just my thumb. Just sayin'.

You are holding it wrong.
I can operate the phone with little to no issues.

Unless you have really tiny hands (friend of mine has small hands) I don't see how you can't use the Samsung GS2.

"Unless you have really tiny hands"

There you have it. iphones are for people with small hands... And you know what that correlates to ;)

I knew all these Apple fanboys were overcompensating for something!

So you're telling us that at the very least the new Galaxy, and possibly previous models as well, are actually quite unlike the iPad and that the differences are "obviously perceptable"? That is an interesting opinion.

So apple is too lazy(stupid, afraid, apple) to innovate?
Big screen is not the problem. The UI is. It's not that hard to change UI for one hand on bigger screens. Android allows you to manage UI so it would be more comfortable for you. And I predict that in next 6 month we will see UI overhaul directed at "one-had big-screen" "problem" from Google or some third party on Android. And then apple will steal it.
