Droid Bionic is available exclusively to Verizon customers starting today
Last month, market research firm Canalys announced that Android-powered phones
outsold Apple's iPhone
5-to-2, and that Android has nearly 50 percent of the market. Now, a new, highly anticipated member of the Android family has arrived: Motorola's Droid Bionic.

4G LTE network
, customers can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps.
Droid Bionic also offers a slew of other features, such as a 4.3-inch qHD screen with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and a dual-layer anti-reflective coating; an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with flash and 1080p HD video capture; a front-facing camera for video chat over 3G, 4G LTE or W-Fi, and 32 GB memory (16 GB on board and 16 GB microSD card pre-installed) as well as support for up to 32 GB microSD cards.
As far as applications go, Droid Bionic will introduce ZumoCast by Motorola, which allows customers to transfer their digital photos, videos, music and documents from their computers to their handset through remote access. With its Webtop application, Droid Bionic can also send Firefox 4.0, email or documents to a TV or monitor. In addition, the MOTOPRINT app will allow users to print photos or documents through Wi-Fi-enabled printers.
Other added features include pre-loaded

Verizon is also selling accessories for the Droid Bionic, such as the HD Station for $99.99, which allows customers to use the smartphone as an "entertainment center or home office." HDMI cables will be available for options like Mirror Mode, a lapdock netbook adapter for $299.97, a $29.99 adapter for the Webtop application, a battery dock with an extra battery for $49.99, which may indicate that the dual-core processor and 4G network is a battery drainer, and much more.

RE: I wonder if you can delete the stock apps...

Yeah, the Verizon Bloatware is BS. I have a Droid3 and had to suffer with the bloatware until just last week when someone much smarter than myself figured out how to root the device. It is insane how I can uninstall every piece of bloatware on a Windows 7 HP, but not on an Android phone. WTF Google? And yes, if I didn't love playing in the woods while still having cell service, I may have gone with Sprint.

Yup, first thing to do with any android phone is to root and load custom ROM. By the way, custom ROMs are the best feature of android.
