HP has been the top computer shipper in the world for a while now. Part of that is thanks to the computers that it moves in the business realm. The company is announcing a new computer today aimed at the business user. The new machine is called the HP Pro 3400 Series and one of the hallmarks of the series is that it is smaller than the average desktop tower.

The smaller size is intended to allow the machine to be easier to place in a crowded and busy office. There are multiple inputs that can be chosen by the user. The CPU can be one of several Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors. The machines can have storage capacity up to 1TB. The Pro 3400 desktops can also be fitted with a DVD-ROM or SuperMulti Writer Drive.

The desktop supports lots or DDR3 RAM and can be expanded to suit the needs of the user. Graphics for the machine are Intel integrated. Other features include standard wired networking, optional WiFi support, and dual USB ports on the front. The line also has four more USB ports on the back and easy to access VGA outputs.

HP notes that the computer has available PCIe slots for upgrades and comes with vacant memory slots in some configurations. It also ships with pre-installed software like HP ProtectTools Suite SMB and a trial offer for Norton Antivirus. The HP Pro 3400 Microtower Business PC starts at $421.
