Biography will feature 40 interviews with Steve Jobs as well as additional interviews with his family, friends, colleagues, competitors and adversaries

Many unauthorized biographies have been written about Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs, but in April of this year, it was announced that he finally gave author Walter Isaacson permission to write a biography about his life.

Now, the Barnes and Noble website has listed the release of Isaacson's book as November 21, 2011. Originally, the Jobs biography release date was March 6, 2012.

Isaacson, a former top executive at CNN and Time who is now president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, has written a 448-page biography based on 40 interviews with Jobs as well as additional interviews with his family, friends, colleagues, competitors, and adversaries.

The book was originally rumored to be titled "iSteve: The Book of Jobs," but is now simply titled "Steve Jobs: A Biography." The biography describes Jobs' personal life as well as his professional life, detailing how he revolutionized personal computers, music, phones, tablet computing, digital publishing and animated movies.

While the biography was approved by Jobs, he had control of what was put into Isaacson's book.

"I've done a lot of things I'm not proud of, such as getting my girlfriend pregnant when I was 23 and the way I handled that," said Jobs. "But I don't have any skeletons in my closet that can't be allowed out."

In addition to a new release date, the front and back cover of the biography is available for show as well. It is true to the look and feel of Apple, with a very clean and to the point look along with black and white images.

Many suspected that the earlier-than-expected release date was due to Jobs' health, but Isaacson noted that this was not the case. Rather, the book nearly finished in June, and is now complete.

"Steve Jobs: A Biography" can be pre-ordered here.

I love you guys! I really mean it. You made me laugh out loud and that's always a good thing.

Also - it's good to see you guys saving so much time - I mean in the past people used to have to read books before judging their content but that's so old style :) Don't want to strain the old brain box do we?

I loved this by the way

and this also cheered me

and this was my other laugh today

Sleep well my friends - all is well in the world.

lol wait for me to buy an Android device, DL a copy of "Double Trouble: The Sergey Brin & Larry Page Story" and read it on my kindle app...then we can talk.

Point being that no one here said anything about Google. We're just talking about your adoration of Steve's products and business practices. Which BTW if they are better than Google's they certainly aren't by much.

You don't have to identify every kettle as black if you wanted to mention that a certain kettle is black.

Yeah... sell Google stock. Great idea not.

Google is poised to become the next Microsoft. Another few years of mergers and acquisitions and they'll be in the same place Microsoft was before all the anti-trust hot water.

The biggest problem these tech companies have is that they don't buy enough politicians.

Learn from history guys, donations, donations, donations.

And then outright bribes.

By the way Tony, Apple dies with Steve, sorry.

The only cult that has lived on after its leader died was Christianity.
