The average mobile gamer plays approximately 7.8 hours per month
Mobile apps have changed the way we
use our phones
entirely, giving us more professional and entertainment-related options on the run. With popular apps like
rising in popularity, it's no surprise that mobile gaming is the most popular category among all app types in the U.S.
, 93 percent of those who have downloaded an app within the last 30 days are willing to pay for mobile games. Also, iPhone, Windows 7 or Android users who have played mobile games in the last 30 days most likely downloaded games, while Blackberry and featurephone users are more likely to play pre-loaded games.
While the average mobile gamer plays approximately 7.8 hours per month, iPhone users play the most at an average of 14.7 hours per month. Android users play about 9.3 hours per month.
With 93 percent of mobile users willing to pay for games, only 76 percent of users who have downloaded an app within the last 30 days are willing to pay for news apps.

I find it interesting the differences in iPhone users and Android users.
I would also like to see here how much of the
phone use that is. I think that it probably would show that iPhone users are not as business related as Android users?

I think this chart kills bragging about 25k, 350k, and 500k apps.
Basically if your smart phone has the top applications of the 19 categories ported to your smartphone your able to do what 99% of the people out there with smartphones do on a daily basis.
