ASUS Transformer get my logical vote

Given the bang for buck, specs, and capabilities it has-it's the logical choice for me, the Xoom comes second but because it costs that much more with similar specs, I'm passing on it.

The only going for the ipad 2 is it's overall smaller size(which has drawbacks too in some instances..portable yes, but lower resolutions) and perhaps app exclusivity(though for the most part whatever is on ios is being made for android as well). The iPad 2 in my opinion offers little to compared to the newer android tablets in terms of performance per dollar. Though to be somewhat fair I admit it is smaller(though lower resolutions)/thinner, but that's it...less ram, less cpu power, higher priced, it's becoming more and more like a fashion statement than a functional instrument.

It also beats the Xoom on graphics performance, so combined with more apps & thinner (and cheaper), it's not really a fashion statement, just that if you're going to spend that amount of money you'd rather have the device that will still have apps made for it in 6 months. ;)

I agree with you there, mostly.

Android itself has some more growing to do...

But of all the non-apple tablets, ASUS is the first one to get something right.

The failures is kind of like Samsung's galaxy S-2 phones... okay, lets make an awkwardly large phone, even BIGGER! yeah! They want higher res and bigger screen! NO! Want slightly smaller with same res, stupid Samsung. Also support.
