HTC Droid Incredible HD/"Mecha"
One apiece from Samsung, Motorola, and HTC
it's no secret
that Verizon will be unveiling a number of LTE-enabled devices at the
conference this weekend, details of three devices have emerged
First up is the
. Reportedly running on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 chip, the Android-based device sports a 4.1-inch display, an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, a front-facing VGA camera, HDMI port, and Android 2.3 with Sense UI.
Then, we've got the
HTC Droid Incredible HD/"Mecha"
. On the hardware front, it should be very similar to Sprint's HTC EVO 4G, with the addition of a rumored dual-core 1.2 MHz Qualcomm processor. The Incredible HD sports a 4.3-inch WXGA touchscreen with 1280 x 800 screen resolution. Like the Olympus, it, too, will sport an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front-facing VGA shooter for video chat.
Finally, Brighthand reports that we can expect the Samsung SCH-I520, a Froyo-equipped Android device with another 8-megapixel camera, to be outted at CES as well. Both, the Thunderbolt and the SCH-I520 have
shown up in Verizon inventories

What resolution do the 1st and 3rd phones have? You also mention the screen size of the first two but not the third. It's also a bit odd to mention 2.3 and then Froyo, most readers here know they are the same, but not everyone.
If you've got the info a nice consistent feature list/comparison would be helpful, I hate having to hunt for specs when looking at prospective phones (one site has the resolution, the other has the Android version, a google cache'd page has the battery size... ugh)

Isn't Froyo 2.2, with Gingerbread being 2.3?
1/4/2011 12:05:21 PM
This is correct. 2.2 = Froyom, 2.3=Gingerbread, 2.4/3.0 = HoneyComb.
This article has a ton of inconsistencies, but its hard to sort through the rumors and blogosphere for the facts. When did the Incredible HD/Thunderbolt get a 1280x800 resolution screen? Great, if true, but I sincerely doubt it. Two more days till we leave for sure.
