Another full-QWERTY Android device joins the Droid 2
Boy Genius Report
their hands on a bevy of pictures of an upcoming Android-powered HTC world phone for Verizon, which was hinted at in Verizon's
roadmap leaks last month
The new device, model number ADR6325, sports a full QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, microSD slot, and a SIM card slot for world roaming. The pictures also show a Microsoft Bing app directly on the home screen. Like most HTC Android devices, it will run the custom Sense UI, unlike the manufacturer's
upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices
According to a
tipster, the device
could be the HTC "Merge"
, which began appearing in Verizon inventories back in August. The folks over at
it to be the CDMA equivalent of
the T-Mobile G2
No other specs or a possible release date are known.

Not quite, but close - if you want to use another carriers SIM and not the Vodaphone SIM that'll come preinstalled, you're gonna need to get VZW to unlock it. When I had them unlock my Tour last year (before my Droid and Droid X), I just emailed their customer service. Sent me an unlock code within a couple hours with instructions. Your milage may vary though, I've been using VZW since 2002. Newer customers may have to fight to get the unlock code or might not get it at all, especially if you try to request it as soon as you sign up and get the phone.

@ReblTeen84 You are correct about the phone having to be unlocked before it can be used with another providers SIM.
