Another full-QWERTY Android device joins the Droid 2

Boy Genius Report has gotten their hands on a bevy of pictures of an upcoming Android-powered HTC world phone for Verizon, which was hinted at in Verizon's roadmap leaks last month.

The new device, model number ADR6325, sports a full QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, microSD slot, and a SIM card slot for world roaming. The pictures also show a Microsoft Bing app directly on the home screen. Like most HTC Android devices, it will run the custom Sense UI, unlike the manufacturer's upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices.

According to a Phandroid tipster, the device could be the HTC "Merge", which began appearing in Verizon inventories back in August. The folks over at Engadget believe it to be the CDMA equivalent of the T-Mobile G2

No other specs or a possible release date are known. BGR has the full gallery here.

Not every product is made to impress you.

I also have no interest in a Verizon branded G2, but I can see how some who need the world phone feature to be quite happy by this release.

+[2] troll achievement points for coming to an article about a gadget and commenting about how little you care for said gadget. LOL.
