Halo: Reach Bundle Package  (Source: Microsoft)

Halo: Reach Console  (Source: Microsoft)
Bundle includes Halo: Reach game, custom controllers, headset, and more

One of the most popular video games on any console is the Halo franchise. More people play Halo alone on the Xbox Live network than those that play all other games combined online on the PS3. With the massive number of fans and players for Halo titles, a new launch in the franchise is huge for Microsoft and the publisher of the game Bungie.

Microsoft is gearing up for the launch of the Halo: Reach game with a new limited edition Halo: Reach branded Xbox 360. The branded Xbox uses the new slimmer Xbox design that was unveiled at E3. The new SKU will launch on September 14 and will include several features found only in the special bundle.

The console will have custom Halo: Reach wireless controllers. The console will be silver and have a Halo design theme. The bundle also included a standard edition copy of Halo: Reach, a token for the limited edition Halo: Reach Limited Edition Elite armor set, and a wires Halo: Reach headset.

There is another very cool feature to the Xbox 360 console included in the bundle other than the color and theme. The console will feature sound effects from the Halo universe. Inside the console are a 250GB HDD, 802.lln Wi-Fi, and all the features of the newly unveiled Xbox 360. The price for the bundle is $399.

Microsoft and Bungie unveiled the limited edition bundle at Comic-Con and also showed off the new level customization features, multiple player game aspects, and more. Halo Reach will be an Xbox 360 exclusive, though like most Halo games  it will probably make its way to the PC eventually.

I liked the first two Halos on the PC, and I too am still waiting patiently for Halo 3 for PC. The series can't compare to Half-Life, but it's fun.

Muh

I waited for Halo 2 for the PC for such a long time I gave up and purchased an xbox with one of those key+mouse adapters. Completed it, sold the console.

Same for Halo 3. Purchased a RRD Xbox 360, fixed it with an xclamp kit. It's still sitting there as I WANT To play it on the PC.

Please, please, release Halo 3 on the damn pc already. SOmething tells me that it's not going to happen and I'll have to fudge my way through using a controller.

I envy you people who can use the X-Box 360 controller for first person shooters. I just cannot do it effectively.

Gimme a mouse for the 360 or come up with something like a light gun for it.

They sell a device called the XFPS that you can plug your computer keyboard and mouse into a XB360 and use it to play XB360 games.. Seems like alot of people use them for sniping in halo and better overall precision
