Medieval warm period

If this is true, how did the bears survive the medieval warm period, when temperatures were higher than they are now? I suspect the bears are more adaptable than this crop of biologists suspect.

Well for one, making any kind of assumptions based on an event that to this day is unknown whether or not it was truly a global event does not make too much sense now does it?

Even if it was a global event, findings seem to show that certain areas (such as the Northern Antlantic) seemed to have temperatures raise far more than other places around the world.

Either way, anyone on either side using the MWP as proof of the existence(or lack there of) of MMGW is bad science.
