Microsoft
has been working on its Project Natal technology for a while now. The
tech takes the motion sensing controller a step further than other
systems on the market by using a camera to see what the player is
doing and turn it into movement on the screen.
We
have heard rumblings that the technology could end up as part
of Windows as well. Microsoft's Saudi marketing manager Syed
Bilal Tariq has apparently unveiled the month the new Natal tech will
be launching. He has pegged the launch
month as October.
Along
with revealing the launch month Tariq also revealed that the system
would be launching globally at the same time. The exact date should
be confirmed at E3 in June. There have been hints and rumors of a
fall launch date previously, so the October time frame matches up
with previous tidbits.
