Microsoft is catching heat for the lack of copy and paste on Windows Phone 7 Series. Is it a big deal to you?

I will not purchase a windows phone 7 series device, not just because the name sucks and is way too long, not because I don't like the interface, but because the only reason I first fell in love with pocket pc, and later windows mobile was the openess, the functionality, the similarity to real operating systems. Without copy paste, a task manager, a file explorer etc why would I want to use it as an operating system? These are features that in my opinion differentiate the smart phones from the old phones of yesteryear. I can just pull the old razer out of my closet if I want something simple and easy. I want something customizable, functional, and utilitarian. This is two steps back, one step forward, and a mile to the right. Android here I come.
