Give the gift of super science this year

For those of you out there that use Amazon's popular Kindle eReaders, there's now a specially formatted version of DailyTech available via subscription ($1.99 per month) from Amazon.com. The Kindle version of DailyTech will allow you to view full articles including images. For those of you looking to make trouble in the comments section, however, you're out of luck as comments are not supported in the Kindle version of DailyTech.

The newest 30 articles on DailyTech are available for viewing, so be sure to go check it out with your Kindle. Given that you can try out the specially formatted version of the site with a 14-day free trial, you really having nothing to lose.

The second generation Kindle has a 6" display, weighs 10.2 ounces, can download a book over its 3G connection in roughly 60 seconds, and can store up to 1,500 books. Thanks to its e-ink screen, the Kindle can go days without recharging.

The larger Kindle DX features a 9.7" screen and is capable of storing 3,500 books.

The standard Kindle is priced at $259 while the Kindle DX will set you back a hefty $489.
