Capcom is porting Resident Evil 2 to the PSP Go, quenching gamers' thirst for zombie-killing.
Capcom is also give PSP Go gamers a chance to play the original Dino Crisis.

Capcom shares a wealth of gaming goodness with lucky handheld gamers
Dust of your shotgun and steady your hands, master of unlocking, for Capcom has
the release of nearly a dozen of its classic titles for the upcoming PSP Go. The
, a new handheld from Sony ditches the UMD format, in favor of downloads from the Playstation Store.
Rather than leave PSP Go owners alone in the dark, Capcom is seizing on the opportunity to resell many of its classics for the new platform. It has announced that it will soon be posting a variety of previously released PSP titles --Capcom Classics Collection Remixed, Mega Man Powered Up, Power Stone Collection, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded -- as well as offering new PSP ports of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and Dino Crisis, previously released on the PS1.
For those wondering, the original Resident Evil is
on the Playstation Network for the PSP Go. That game is also currently offered for the Nintendo DS as
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
, a commemorative edition that features both classic gameplay and a revamped mode with touch screen puzzles. The title also was ported to the Gamecube with dramatically improved graphics and sound. The Gamecube version is being
ported to the Wii
to take advantage of the Wii's unique control scheme.
The first of the Capcom titles were posted last Friday, and they should all be there shortly. While many of these titles have seen releases on scores of platforms, they remain classics to the industry and are worthy of note.

Well, they already have Final Fantasy 7 ported over as a PSOne Classic for the PSP and PS3...
...that being said, the other two PS1 FF games would be greatly appreciated as well.
In the meantime, Capcom's support of their back catalogue is most heartening.
