some of the more popular and best selling games made for the PS1... finally, Sony makes a good decision. i'll still be waiting for the Final Fantasy series to get ported though...

Well, they already have Final Fantasy 7 ported over as a PSOne Classic for the PSP and PS3...

...that being said, the other two PS1 FF games would be greatly appreciated as well.

In the meantime, Capcom's support of their back catalogue is most heartening.

Really? I would definitely get a copy since one of my FF VII discs isn't reading right anymore.

well they won't get a sale from me, I've already replayed (RE2) the game by making an ISO for my PSP. And this was almost 2 years ago

well, for starters these titles were not available for the psp 2 years ago. You're assuming that that he does not already own the original ps1 disc to make the iso. It is very ignorant to call that piracy.

How do you know he didn't already own RE2 and just wants it in portable form? Sort of like ripping your CDs and putting the audio on your ipod?

It's about time more devs jump on this... PSP is awesome... Saying it's for the PSP Go seems a bit funny. I would assume that Sony will support older PSP models having downloaded games on Memory Stick Pro Duo...

I guess this is great news, but the PS1 games look awful to me today especially when stretched on the PS3's screen, but should look okay on the PSP screen. I have a PSP 1001, & see no need to upgrade to the 2000 3000 or GO, which to me seems to be the worse of the 3. Smaller screen, no umd, no mem stick duo when I have 50gigs woth of mem sticks, plus, you can download the same games to the earlier models the same. This is good news for Sony.
