New lower power models are pricey

Intel has announced price cuts for some of its Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core, Celeron, and Xeon products. It has also announced several new Core 2 Quad CPUs with a 65W TDP.

We have listed only the models that are new or have dropped in price. New products are noted. All pricing is based on OEM purchasing of 1000 units in a non-retail tray format.

wow idiot alert.
The binning separates individual models by their capabilities. Prices from high to low.

Intel has taken a current cpu which has already gone through binning for separation into Extreme, standard and low power models and has intentionally taken out those that ink out just a touch more performance for yet another model that bares no special features other than a S at the end of the model name and charged a $80-$100 premium and for what? You can't answer that can you...

They already have extreme and low watt versions yet these are designated differently and placed in the exact same category they were in originally. Its a price gouge on the exact same cpu. The price dropped models go to OEMs and the lucky suckers that get the high priced models go to none other than you. Sucker #1

Seeing as you replied from your own dumbass post, I find this one of the rare correct things youve written.
