Vietnam is proving to be an extremely attractive location for tech companies - India, watch out

Following Intel's east Asia plans, Western Digital has now announced that it too will  launch a facility in Vietnam to support existing and generate new customers. The company indicates that it has made plans to open in Ho Chi Minh City in the "high-tech" district 10. Western Digital says that it has already established relationships with Vietnam R.Net, a large IT distributor in Vietnam and another distributor named EA Tech Singapore. There are no specifics on how much the new facility will cost Western Digital, but it is clear that Vietnam is a prime location as one of Asia's fastest booming tech markets.

I'm dumb, so I'm not fully sure if this article is stating WD will be opening a CS center or what. But, if they are, I think they've just one-uped the rest of the tech company who outsource to India. I thought talking to Robert from India and understanding him was hard. Now I can talk to Jin yippie!

but on the bright side, if they piss off Americans with their lack of understanding English, and lack of speaking it. They can pull the South Park
