The Vivo Chinese smartphone maker’s limited edition smartphone set to launch on

Wednesday, April 5th. The new model will be unveiled at an event in Hyderabad a day ahead of the official IPL 2017 launch. It seems that Vivo V5 Plus IPL limited edition smartphone will have the same specifications of the standard model, but the outer design may be different. Also it may have a few pre-loaded IPL related apps. 


This dual –SIM selfie-focused smartphone runs on company’s Funtouch OS 3.0 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The biggest highlight of the device is dual front camera setup. 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 ½. 78-inch sensor, and f/2.0 aperture, and the other is an 8 MP camera.


These two cameras in the front automatically pull numerous facial features while taking selfies, and have a smartphone sport 16 MP camera in the back. The Moonlight Glow feature helps to use the device in poor lighting conditions.


This device has a 5.5 inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution powered with 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4GB RAM.  Vivo V5 Plus comes with 32GB internal storage and can hold micro SD cards up to 128GB.

This smartphone has battery size of 3055mAh and supports 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. This device also includes 64GB of built-in storage, which is upgradable to
