Fall armyworm ’threatens African farmers’ livelihoods

Scientists are calling for action to stop the spread of a pest that is destroying maize crops.

This Google tool will not be available after March 1st

Google is will phase out its Launcher from the play store. Reported: In an email sent to Android device manufactures (obtained by Android Police), the search engine says that by Q1 2017 Google Now Launcher will be “unpublished” from Google Play Store. “ Although users would not be able to download and install the launcher from Google Play Store, Google will continue to support existing users of the Google, Now Launcher by updating the Google Search App,” says the email. No worries, this shows that Google will make own Pixel Launcher for the devices. At this point the Google Pixel launcher is for Google Pixel and XL smartphones. The giant search is phasing out of ‘Nexus and on the go for more ‘Pixel’ device Launches.
