The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store
Time Warner Cable is releasing its popular TWC TV app for iPhone, allowing iOS users to watch and control their favorite TV shows right from their smartphone.
The TWC TV app, which launched for the iPad in March 2011, will now feature iPhone options such as Search, which allows users to search for their programming by title, genre or episode; Interactive program guide, which offers up to seven days of listings with show descriptions and favorites; Set-top box tuning, which tunes compatible set-top boxes directly to the channel by hitting a network logo or "Watch on TV" button within the program description, and DVR management to schedule recordings on compatible DVRs.
The TWC TV app was so popular for the iPad that iPhone and Android users have asked for it as well, and while Android users have to wait a little longer, iPhone owners can download the app here for free now.
