Okami on the Wii

At last, controls for the Celestial Brush that make sense as opposed to the clumsy analog stick control of the PS2 version.

If you haven't heard of this game, I'd highly suggest checking it out. "Twilight Princess if you stayed as a wolf permanently" would be the best in-a-nutshell version.

I'm looking forward to this one too. What I wouldn't give to have more time for playing games...

Okami is a must have for any PS2/PS3 with BC and Wii owner. One of the most enjoyable titles I've played in ages. It's like Zelda in many ways but it's really its own unique game. I hear though that some are already complaining that the Wiimote is more clumsy for the Celestial Brush. I guess it takes some getting used to.

As for the guy complaining about GTR5's online price, just buy the cheaper BD version. I prefer a hard copy since HDDs fail and it's a big download.

Damn... I thought Wii was light on decent titles. I was only expecting to pick up a handful of games each year.

The way it's going I'm looking at two games (Okami and Mario Kart) just for April.

But yeah, Okami looks great.

Definitely looking forward to Okami. I hadn't even heard about it in 2006 until it won a bunch of awards at the end of the year (honestly, I was a little too adicted to EQ to pay much attention to other games for several years).

I never did find a copy of it though, so I was very happy to find out it was coming out on Wii.

Too many good things coming out, not enough time sigh. I still haven't gotten Crisis Core either.

The EU games are great. I haven't read much about Rome yet (because I'm still busy playing EU3) but I'll be picking up this baby soon.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Anyone able to explain to me why GT 5 Prologue is £25 from the PS Store download and £18 from an on-line store where after a short wait you actually get a disk?

No one is that desperate to play the game surely?

Only other advantage is that you don't have to load the disk to play it I guess, but still, not worth that much?

If only you could "install" the games onto the hard disk?

I would guess added convienence? The fact it would be all on your harddrive and not be in need of a disc to play.

I far more prefer having the games installed on my PS3, when I am in "lazy mode" I can simple Press PS button->Quit current game->scroll to new game->play new game without having to get up.

Also if you buy from the PS Store, it will be connected to your account so you will have it virtually forever. If something happens to your Hard drive or PS3, you can just download it again. If something happens to your disc, you would have to buy a new one.
