Yeah. Just desaturate the OS X background, stretch it out a bit, photoshop it for a good 2 hours, and viola! Vista background! (Wha?)

wow, who cares if they are copying superficial ideas from apple? i own two computers, a powerbook, and a desktop pc, so don't think that i hate macs or that im a windows fanatic. i mostly use my powerbook for everything, but i do need to use my pc for a couple of things i can't do on my mac, like gaming.

but when i use my pc, i have downloaded every possible thing i could find to make it look better (ie. like a mac) so if microsoft realizes that their OS isn't very pretty and they want to do something about it, then so what? it's not like they switched over to unix and made an os based on their own version of unix. all they did was make desktop backgrounds that resemble those of apple

It's really not that similar, your looking at a compressed screenshot. The Apple background is much simpler and smoother.

I dont see a keyboard on this tablet. I wish every laptop came with a sata port.
Thanks

While most tablets you've seen are probably "convertables" that have keyboards... the original concept for a tablet is no keyboard. There's an on screen keyboard and handwriting recognition.

I've got a P3-933Mhz tablet now ... I'm waiting to upgrade for OLED to become available on tablets. The we'll see some impressively thin, light, and log life tablets.

Affordability

When will we see products like these are more affordable price points eg $600-800? I like tablets for their mobility and ergonomics. I don't have one cause they are priced way too high to justify purchasing.

Gateway has an awesome tablet for around a thousand with core 2 and ati graphics.

3.3 lbs?

These slates seem a little heavy for something with no keyboard. I'm pretty sure that IBM/Lenovo's X41T and X60T tablets both weigh about the same, and you can actually type on those.
