New Rumors have surfaced about Microsoft's new Surface Pro 5.

Lately the apps segment was point of Microsoft focus, and was kept quiet. Recent rumors and leaks mentioned that the company might be working on the next version of a 2-in-1 laptop that is most likely to be called Surface Pro5.

This may be the MSP5

Of course, the specifications are not known at this time, but Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be an upgrade to the Surface Pro 4. Here is a Surface Pro 5 image from Microsoft’s News Site that looks like the Surface Pro 4.

It is expected that the 2-in-1 will have the latest Intel Kaby Lake processor and multiple RAM/internal storage options, as the Surface Pro4 already has sixth generation Intel CPUS. The Surface Pro 5 most probably will be competing against Apple’s MacBook. The device will have windows 10 update (called the Creators Update).

As reported by Digitimes website, Microsoft has given manufacturing license for its Surface Pro 5 to Pegatron, the same company that also manufactures Surface Studio. The other specs leaks pointed that the device will have 2K resolution display, USB Type-C and a 16 GB RAM.  While the PC Advisor UK website noted that there won’t be much of change in the pricing.  The price could remain the same as of Surface Pro 4’s launch or less, but the release date is not known.

There has been some speculation that the Surface Pro 5 may get a showing, but it seems that we will see education-specific software or hardware instead.  With no sign of the Surface Pro5, still we are expecting an announcement sometime this spring.
