Biography will feature 40 interviews with Steve Jobs as well as additional interviews with his family, friends, colleagues, competitors and adversaries

Many unauthorized biographies have been written about Apple CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs, but in April of this year, it was announced that he finally gave author Walter Isaacson permission to write a biography about his life.

Now, the Barnes and Noble website has listed the release of Isaacson's book as November 21, 2011. Originally, the Jobs biography release date was March 6, 2012.

Isaacson, a former top executive at CNN and Time who is now president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, has written a 448-page biography based on 40 interviews with Jobs as well as additional interviews with his family, friends, colleagues, competitors, and adversaries.

The book was originally rumored to be titled "iSteve: The Book of Jobs," but is now simply titled "Steve Jobs: A Biography." The biography describes Jobs' personal life as well as his professional life, detailing how he revolutionized personal computers, music, phones, tablet computing, digital publishing and animated movies.

While the biography was approved by Jobs, he had control of what was put into Isaacson's book.

"I've done a lot of things I'm not proud of, such as getting my girlfriend pregnant when I was 23 and the way I handled that," said Jobs. "But I don't have any skeletons in my closet that can't be allowed out."

In addition to a new release date, the front and back cover of the biography is available for show as well. It is true to the look and feel of Apple, with a very clean and to the point look along with black and white images.

Many suspected that the earlier-than-expected release date was due to Jobs' health, but Isaacson noted that this was not the case. Rather, the book nearly finished in June, and is now complete.

"Steve Jobs: A Biography" can be pre-ordered here.

Hmm... It just so happens...

That my supply of toilet paper runs out that month. How convenient! Thanks, Steve!

Of course, I wouldn't actually pay for a copy of it. The thought though makes me feel good inside. Kind of like that euphoric feeling i-Fans receive when buying an Apple product, but better.

While Apple products might provide you with euphoria followed by a later, empty feeling (thus feeding you to buy more Apple products), toilet paper truly helps feed that empty feeling. As I feel more "emptied," I use more of it to quell the feeling. Finally, a reason to feed the obsession.

He might be, but saying "jelly" instead of "jealous" is worse.

I get that way after eating Indian food. If I eat even more, I get dehydrated. I still would do it again though, as it is enjoyable on the way end and now, with this more improved toilet paper, it is enjoyable on the way out, too! ;)

My thoughts exactly, pure crap. How can you release an "approved" autobiography and with a straight face say you have nothing to hide. If you had nothing to hide you wouldn't have to approve content right. Job's vanity never ceases to amaze me.

Unapproved would indicate there is something in it he did not want.

Jobs vanity never ceases to amaze me either but this isn't an example of it.

Great idea but you are still buying his product. Better idea, buy some paper and I mean some cheap @ss paper. Torrent a pdf file of the book. Print it out on a on your cheap @ss paper and then use it is as TP.

No, no, no... You have to pay homage to the Apple tradition.

The toilet paper must:

1) Be the most expensive paper in the market

2) Be made of an exotic material, like linen

3) Be single-ply, because no one needs two-ply

4) Be extremely hot after extended periods of use

5) Occasionally catch on fire

6) Require a regular upgrade of the paper holder, despite a lack of changes in spin or springiness

7) Come stock with half the paper compared to competing brands

8) Install similar bathroom products, such as iSoap and iShampoo

9) Consist of one, plain pattern and color

10) Be unable to be lit under sprinklers, tossed over homes, or anything else fun

LOL essentially, you could do either way. The one true way would be... Someone buys the book for you, because I'm not going to pay for one, go out and have it signed by the turd himself. Then use the book as TP. Much more meaning every time you go for a wipe.

S. Jobs Hubbard?

First, he creates the RDF (reali-thetan distortion field).

Then, he creates the Church of Appleology.

Then, he attracts a following of headcases.

Then, he forces everyone to buy only from the Church.

Then, he sells a book to spread his teachings and wisdom (Stevenetics).

IT'S THE SECOND COMING!!!

I love you guys! I really mean it. You made me laugh out loud and that's always a good thing.

Also - it's good to see you guys saving so much time - I mean in the past people used to have to read books before judging their content but that's so old style :) Don't want to strain the old brain box do we?

I loved this by the way

lol wait for me to buy an Android device, DL a copy of "Double Trouble: The Sergey Brin & Larry Page Story" and read it on my kindle app...then we can talk.

Point being that no one here said anything about Google. We're just talking about your adoration of Steve's products and business practices. Which BTW if they are better than Google's they certainly aren't by much.

You don't have to identify every kettle as black if you wanted to mention that a certain kettle is black.

Yeah... sell Google stock. Great idea not.

Google is poised to become the next Microsoft. Another few years of mergers and acquisitions and they'll be in the same place Microsoft was before all the anti-trust hot water.

The biggest problem these tech companies have is that they don't buy enough politicians.

Learn from history guys, donations, donations, donations.

And then outright bribes.

By the way Tony, Apple dies with Steve, sorry.

The only cult that has lived on after its leader died was Christianity.

Jobs biography comes out Nov. 21, 2011.
Skyrim releases Nov. 11 2011.
Both are avallable for pre-order, but I have only so much spare cash, you know... Hmmm... Which to buy? A book that is part fiction, part distorted facts, and that will leave me confused and feeling ripped off? Or a game that will give me many hours of fantasy role-playing pleasure, new dungeons to plunder, new dragons to slay?

Book or Skyrim...

I hope the book's publish is in no way related to his failing health...

It may even be an interesting reading.

In another news, Apple "retouched" a bit Samsung's 10.1 pictures for the European injunction. :-) :-) :-)

I don't think poor Steve-o is long for this world.

Why a biography now?

If you really wanted to write a biography, why not do it a year after he turned Apple around being nearly bankrupt and out of business? That was the true success story.

Steve's dying all. Time to leave that legacy in book form so the cultists can review it each day when they wake up, and when they go to sleep each day.

I would say that I hope Apple dies with him, but I really don't hope for that (although I imagine it'll happen).

What would really be great is once he kicks the bucket, Apple becomes more Microsoft-like. Allows their OS to be installed on many different types of hardware.

Apple's OS isn't bad, it just has a lot of security holes that need to be shored up.

But I digress.

Steve-o's doctors have given him some unpleasant news... and now he has to immortalize himself while he still can.
