Just as mobile phone manufacturers are
looking to make their products as
slim as possible, notebook manufacturers are also hip to the slim
look. LG's new T1
Express Dual is a 14.1" dual-core unit that is a mere 0.83"
thin.
The 4.2
pound unit comes with a Core Duo L2300 processor, support for up
to 4GB of memory, dual-layer DVD burner, fingerprint sensor and can
be equipped with either a 1280x800 or 1440x900 display. A 6-cell
battery comes standard while a 9-cell battery is optional. While some
may be disappointed with the fact that the T1 Express Dual uses Intel
GMA950 integrated graphics, there's only but so much room for cooling
a hot-running discrete graphics chip in such a small frame.
Pricing and availability is not yet
available for the T1 Express Dual, but we'll keep you posted.
