DailyTech sat down with Firaxis to view a brief demo of Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Warlords during E3 2006
Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Warlords, the first expansion for the insanely popular Sid Meier's Civilization IV is being developed by Firaxis and will be released in July 2006, according to Firaxis. Firaxis listened to some of the things that players wanted changed in future expansions and patches of the original Civ IV, and the company then obliged by adding many new features and a good looking scenario list. From what was shown to DailyTech during E3, the new scenario list was compiled from the mostly desired war-related scenarios. The new scenarios that can be played: Genghis Khan Chinese Unification, Peloponnesian Wars, Alexander's Conquests, Rise of Rome, Vikings, Omens and Barbarian Horde.
More details about the game will be known as we get closer to the release date.
