Here is a smartphone that compact, smart looking, offers good performance, and comes from good stock.

It is amazing how things go around and come back around again.  When the first iPhone and Android smartphones hit the scene, they were compact with 3 to 4-inches displays. Then, as a result of consumer demand, smartphones progressed to larger and larger screen sizes. So, it is refresher to see the smaller handsets come back around.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is handset that is designed to fit into a small compact frame.  This is a 4.5-inch handset which draws its pedigree from Samsung’s highly successful Galaxy S4. You get smooth curved corners and edges, expandable memory, 4G LTE data speeds.

Core Prime features Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor which runs at 1.2GHz. The operating system is the updated Android 5.1, Lollipop which provides for much easier navigating of the user interface.

There is a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera.  Not that great compared to the high-end phones, but Auto-Focus and rear LED flash make it good enough to capture those desirable selfie moments.   You also get video recording at 720p.
