Grand Theft Auto V looks to be another huge blockbuster

Rockstar Games has teased over the past few years with numerous screenshots and a handful of trailers showing cut scenes from its next great gaming title: Grand Theft Auto V. However, we haven't gotten a look at actual gameplay footage -- until today.
We won't spoil the fun, so we'll just let you look at the nearly five-minute video below. Trust it, it looks like the game will be well worth the wait.

Grand Theft Auto V will launch on September 17.

Looks like it's going to be really good fun. The variety of San Andreas with the attention to detail of GTA4.

Sadly I won't be picking it up on launch day. I'm holding out for the PS4 version. Rockstar will do one, they just won't say it because they are worried it might crimp sales (a tiny bit). And when it does come to PS4 I fully expect it to be god damn gorgeous and so very worth the wait!

I sure hope so. I was so addicted to San Andreas because of how much content there was. I didn't even realize how much was in that game until I picked up the strategy guide and discovered how much I had been missing. While GTA4 polished up the graphics and gameplay, I was disappointed that they removed so much content that set San Andreas apart from all other games. I especially loved flying the variety of planes and all the different challenges scattered throughout the maps. If this game combines the variety of SA with the gameplay enhancements of GTA4, it could be very close to a perfect game.

If this was a PC launch on day one that would be awesome. Probably going to be a console payday first, then PC later.

The graphics for GTA4 were so much better on a well equiped PC than they were on the consoles, and the ability to do video capture and scene edits was a really nice feature.

looks good

well this looks great! i do hope the mechanics of switching between the characters don't get in the way of gameplay or immersion, but the rest looks awesome. i would particularly enjoy setting up my own missions, a la ghost recon or SWAT.
sure, the graphics are dated, but that's really not what it's about at the end of the day, is it?
i'm pre-ordering in about 15 minutes when i get to a store lol

I'm holding out for the PC version, but I do admit it is impressive what they've managed to squeeze out of the old 360 hardware. Those are 360 shots, right?
