OLED keyboards pre-pre-order ... for real this time!
Good news for all who have been waiting patiently for this
new toy. May 20th is the day to mark your calendars for the pre-order
availability of the Optimus Maximus OLED keyboard.
Beginning May 20th at 7 a.m. Eastern time, the Art. Lebedev Studio will publish
the keyboard's detailed specifications and will start accepting limited
pre-orders on a first come-first served basis.
The production schedule for the $1,536 OLED keyboard is laid out for an
expected two months. The production of the first 200 keyboards is
expected around the beginning of December, with another 200 keyboards expected
around the end of December. There will also be expected production of 400
keyboards in January of 2008.
The 114 key, 32x32 pixel full color OLED Optimus Maximus
keyboard with replaceable and customizable keys is expected to be available
winter of 2007.
