Ready, Set, Live Stream

In the past, you had to have at up to 10,000 subscribers to your channel to access YouTube's live streaming feature. Now, thanks to this new change, you only need 1,000 subscribers to your channel in order to go live.

The livestreaming feature is rather easy to use. Once you hit the 1,000 subscriber mark, you can then access the Creator Studio tools and activate livestreaming. You would then use the YouTube mobile app to create your livestream which will automatically be saved to an archive for you.

Before you can start however, you need to make sure that your channel is verified and then you have not had any live stream restrictions in the last 90 days.
