Asus looks to Everlight for a new 12.1" widescreen LED notebook.
Asustek is to jump on the LED display bandwagon with a new widescreen 12.1" notebook. Laptop Logic recently reviewed the Sony VAIO VGN-TX650P which also features an LED display. LED backlighting allows the LCD screen to be extremely light while also saving on battery power. Everlight, the company producing the panels for Asustek, is also working on widescreen LED displays up to 15.1" in size.
