On Tuesday night, NVDIA CEO Jen-Hsun revealed the world's fastest gaming GPU ever before hundreds of gamers at the Game Developers Conference, in San Francisco.

This new GPU speedster is fast.  Infact, in a statement to a crowd consisting of over 500 gamers, and world journalists at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom, Jen-Hsun had this to say, “It’s time for something new, something that’s 35 percent faster than a GTX 1080, something that’s faster than TITAN X. Let’s call it the ultimate GeForce,”.

How is this amazing feat performed?  It was desiged using cutting-edge FinFET process.  This baby has a whooping 12 billion transistors which deliver a dramtic increase in performance and efficiency.

CEO Jen-Hsun further tempted the crowd with the news that the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the first ever 4K VR-Ready GPU. In fact, this GPU also includes support for NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR and NVIDIA GameWorks which facilitates an extremely smooth and highly immersive gameplay.
 
Jen-Hsun added, “Coming out of the box, the stock out of the box 1080 Ti is 35 percent faster than a 1080, faster than a TITAN X,” Jen-Hsun said to raucous hoots from the crowd. “… and all of that for $699.”
