The volcano dubbed "America's Mount Fuji" has been oozing lava into its crater
Mount St. Helens, the volcano that last erupted in 1980, has been oozing 10 cubic yards of lava
into its crater for over a year. Along with the lava comes a steady
number of small earthquakes. The magnitude of the earthquakes usually
range between 1 and 2, but it has been reported that some earthquakes
have been over a magnitude of 3. Scientists are not sure where the lava
is originating from, and don't know how much longer the volcano will
continue to ooze lava into its crater.
