Several more companies make decisions on the Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD war that is becoming increasingly more competitive
TDK, a popular choice for blank media like CD-RWs and DVD-R discs, has chosen Blu-ray over the rival HD-DVD format. Although only time will tell whether or not it was a good idea to side with only one format, many people believe that companies would most likely be better off embracing both next generation formats. The article also reports that Imation will be providing both HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs to consumers.
